Each one-of-a-kind Smut Book is hand-built, carved, and glazed. 

This book was wood fired in a large anagama kiln at Eye of the Dog Art Center in San Marcos, Tx.  Each piece in the kiln gets kissed by the path of the flames, giving them unreplicable directional patterns.
